We’re excited to share that Eventech is participating in the ELC2025 at the Faculty of Physics University of Warsaw, Institute of Geophysics, represented by our Business Development Lead in LiDARs β€” Adam Adamovic πŸ™Œ

Big reveal: during the conference we unveiled a revolutionary LiDAR signal registration device prototype β€” the EPC (Eventech Photon Counter) (working name; final name TBD) β€” delivering:

  • 0.375 m spatial resolution
  • fast sampling, with 1-2 s temporal resolution, with an option to downscale for more averaged measurements ⏱️

How we built it:

Born from a collaboration between Eventech and the University of Warsaw (Institute of Geophysics) within the TNA / ACTRIS call 🀝
The project initially evaluated Eventech’s ESTT 7 Series time tagger, which was then heavily modified for LiDAR suitability through close collaboration between the teams πŸ› οΈ

The device was unveiled in a presentation by Mateusz Winkowski (University of Warsaw), covering the outcomes of our joint work and highlighting extreme improvements for the LiDAR community. πŸš€

The EPC prototype is designed to complement existing LiDAR systems, boosting resolution and enabling higher-quality data for researchers and operators worldwide. 🌍

A huge thank you to the organisers and the University of Warsaw, Institute of Geophysics β€” with special thanks to Iwona S. Stachlewska and her team (Mateusz Winkowski, afwan hafiz, Dominika Szczepanik) β€” for a truly splendid collaboration. πŸ™

We’re always open to collaboration with Research Organisations, Agencies and Companies to push the boundaries of LiDAR β€” and scientific research in general. Let’s talk! βœ‰οΈ
